Delete Your Account & Data
This page explains how to permanently delete your CardXpertAI account and the data associated with it — from inside the app or without it — and what happens when you do. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and retain your information.

1. Delete your account in the app
You can permanently delete your account and data at any time from inside the CardXpertAI app:
- 1. Tap your profile avatar in the top-right of the Dashboard, Vault, or Market screen to open Settings.
- 2. Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- 3. Review what happens, tap Delete My Account, and type DELETE to confirm.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it directly in your Apple or Google account settings, or it will keep renewing — see Terms of Service.
2. Request deletion without the app
Don't have the app installed, or would rather not open it to delete your account? Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email address on your account. Upon verification, we will process your deletion request as described below.
3. What gets deleted
Upon verification, we delete your account, your card images, and your Vault data, subject to the retention exceptions described in the next section.
Some data that is shared with other users — for example, your battle and chat history — may be de-identified rather than deleted outright, so that removing your account doesn't remove data belonging to someone else's account.
4. What we retain, and for how long
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Once you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations, or where it exists in routine backups that are cycled out over time.
